Best cut & color ever!

I love, love, love my hair. Right after leaving the studio I sat in my car and took a picture with my phone to send to my best friend. Her comment? “Oh my GOSH! Its like he knew you and knew exactly what your hair should look like!” I had to play hockey that night and all the girls in the locker room ooh’d and aah’d over the color. (I waited until absolutely the last minute before getting on the ice to put my helmet on too! ) The cut is fantastic and the color is absolutely perfect, so perfect, in fact, that people that don’t see me all the time say something like, “You look great!” But they aren’t entirely sure what is making me look so different. I really just look like I have the cut and color that I should have! Thanks again. It’s a long haul over from Wenatchee, but you can bet I’ll be making it again!
Pros: Knows how to cut for wash and wear!
Cons: I have to drive from Wenatchee! 
Best Place I’ve Found in Seattle

I’ve lived in Seattle for over 2 years and have tried many, many different places (small ones, large chains and everything in between). This is the first place that I loved the experience while I was there and I loved the result when I left. It is a private salon so you are the only one there to get your hair done. Joey let me know that this was my experience, and if I preferred to chat, he is there for that, or if I prefer to relax and read, that’s great too. I LOVED this because sometimes I love talking to the stylists but other times I just want to relax, read and not feel pressured to answer mindless questions that I’ve found other stylists to ask. Joey was very interested in what I had to say about my hair, and then he gave great advice about the cut and color and I left with hair that I love. I will definitely be going back; he definitely knows his hair.
Pros: Knowledgeable, comfortable, friendly
Cons: Wish he was downtown!

Joey is a proficient, gifted artist that makes his beautiful hair art seem effortless and genuinely individualized. God Gifted Stylist, for sure. What a DELIGHTFUL experience, front to back…..you can trust his confident hands on your head to produce results that last when the rubber meets the road …and your haircut just falls into place at 5:30 am because it is precision cut just for YOUR head. I was looking for a confident stylist who could offer me a haircut with some style….well I found it. Not only is Joey a true professional, but he enjoys what he does and makes you feel truly comfortable. He offers a personalized experience tailored to your needs, and you leave with a great cut and color. I won’t be going anywhere else!
I love getting my haircut by Joey. Great guy and he has a cool new location. Nice feel and all the details that you’d ever want to see in a quality salon. I am one of those people with a phobia of bad hair salon experiences, and I just feel at ease whenever I have him do my hair. I haven’t ever heard of a disappointed customer either, as he aims to please. He always takes the time to get to know you, and listen to what you’d like to see and will also take the wheel and suggest something new if you’re game. He has an extensive list of reviews on Citysearch but I thought I’d be different and give some credit to him here. He’s in the Maple leaf area which is easy to get to, the parking is convenient, and he handles his own scheduling which seems more assuring knowing that he is hands-on as opposed to those big salons who book you without careful consideration of each persons needs. I love my new cut. Give him a try… you won’t be disappointed.

I found Joey here on Yelp and was blown away by his reviews. Then I looked him up on City Search and found even more great reviews. I contacted him and he got right back to me. I stopped by his studio (lovely neighborhood) to meet him and everything was gorgeous. I had to cancel my appointment, but thought his personal service and follow-up was SO amazing that it warranted a good review.

I have the reviewers here on Yelp to thank for leading me to the best hair stylist I have ever had. No one has ever made my hair look this good!
Usually I walk out of a salon and can’t wait to re-style my hair, but with the cut I got from Joey the first time I went in, I never wanted to touch it again: it was perfect! Luckily, it’s also easy to work with, so I can do it almost as well myself. And bonus: even those days when I do next to nothing to my hair, it still manages to look decent. I also get my color done there and Joey’s as good at that as he is at cutting.
His customer service is outstanding. Joey had to cancel my first appointment (with profuse apologies) and he was kind enough to reschedule me for that weekend even though he doesn’t usually do weekend appointments.
The salon is serene and Joey makes sure you are taken care of with water, tea, or coffee. He really listens to what you like/don’t like about your hair and works to make it perfect. He is always on time, and a few days later you get a follow up call to make sure everything is going well with your cut.
I really can’t recommend him highly enough. Go see Joey, you won’t regret it.
